It has been more than two years now and finally, Sam Kuoha, Grandmaster of the Chinese Kara-Ho Kempo Karate System, will be visiting Germany once again. It will be a full week in November, when Grandmaster Kuoha will be offering seminars, private lessons and training sessions. The climax of his stay will be his ice break, which he is already famous for. Martial Arts demonstration with an ice break The Kara-Ho demonstration in Nossen (near Dresden) will be offering several self-defense techniques, as well as martial arts katas. These will be performed unarmed, as well as with several traditional weapons. Furthermore, Kara-Ho as martial arts will be presented in detail, concerning the basics of the self-defense techniques and Kara-Ho in general. At the end of the demonstration, advanced martial arts techniques will be performed by some of our black belts. Finally, Grandmaster Kuoha will be performing one of his infamous ice breaks (holding the world record in this category). He intends to break four blocks of ice, 150 lbs each – 280 kg in total. {mosimage}The campaign against right wing radicalism, themed "Gesicht Zeigen!", intends to raise awareness of the increasing intolerance and violence towards outlandish citizens. We want to show how the martial arts and especially Kara-Ho are able to work against these grievances. The demonstration will take place on November 9th at 07:00 PM in the gallery of the Altzella monastery in Nossen.
